Loved how even if it was a simple map/campaign, it was fun and challenging without being too overwhelming for new players. Also liked that the DM set their boundaries when it came to being too Gordy or inappropriate.
I liked how disparate player goals for the session were guided or contrasted together to make a more dynamic experience, and how legitimately dangerous the archers and Captain Flameo were.
The GM added great details about the player actions. It was a good mix of humor and seriousness. The GM did a great job answering questions and clarifying abilities.
DM asked for information about how we do things (what does your magic look like?) and offered clear and engaging descriptions of how tasks played out based on what actions we took.
I really enjoyed how you were willing to help us without exactly telling us what to do. You also laughed at some of our ideas!
The way that the quest was described. The details were not over the top but it wasn’t to little. It was perfect!
I love that he gave us freedom/the opportunity to do stupid stuff. (Also had fun turning into an ape).
